Henderson & Co. is a multidisciplinary design studio where design is an act of discovery.
Each project begins with conversation, uncovering ambition, understanding context, and revealing the latent potential of a place. We don’t impose a signature style. Instead, we shape considered identities that respond to purpose, environment, and intent.

Behind every project is a team of skilled designers, architects, thinkers and collaborators. We work closely across disciplines, drawing on deep experience and shared values to deliver work that is refined, purposeful and elegantly understated.
Led by over 20 years of founder experience, H&CO. was established in 2017 and has since delivered over 110 projects, spanning nine sectors including multi-residential, residential, retail, commercial, hospitality, maritime, health & wellness, product, and signage & wayfinding.
All of our senior team members bring over 15 years of local and international project experience, ensuring depth, clarity and capability at every stage. As a studio, we foster a culture that is both rigorous and open, where ideas are challenged, refined and shared.
With a legacy of 12 award-winning projects, we approach every brief with the same level of care balancing design intent with technical detail to ensure each project is not only beautifully conceived, but seamlessly executed.
Meet the Founder
Angus Henderson is the Founder and Principal of Henderson & Co.
With over two decades of experience in Interior Architecture and Architectural design. His portfolio spans luxury homes, commercial offices, multi-residential developments, boutique and high-end retail, hotel and hospitality venues, superyacht design and automotive showrooms with award-winning work delivered across Australia and internationally.
What defines Angus is not just the scope of his experience, but the depth of his investment in every project. He is known for his strategic thinking, attention to detail and a quiet determination to create work that is timeless, original, and deeply human. Whether the project is personal or commercial, Angus approaches each brief with emotional intelligence and curiosity uncovering the nuances that make a design not only successful, but profoundly individual.
A trusted advisor to his clients, Angus also works closely with all sub-consultants, engineers, approval authorities, builders, specialist trades and subcontractors navigating each relationship with respect and fluency. His ability to move seamlessly between strategic vision and detailed execution makes him a steady and adaptable presence across all phases of delivery.
His work extends beyond Architecture and Interiors to include large-scale community masterplanning, product design, branding, signage and wayfinding.
He leads Henderson & Co. with a belief in design as a form of partnership, one built on clarity, integrity and care, and delivers outcomes that are as emotionally intelligent as they are expertly resolved.
