A BESPOKE RESIDENTIAL HAVEN
IKON emerges as a quietly commanding presence in Potts Point, a residence where luxury is expressed through detail, materiality, and a deeply personal approach to design. Nestled within a vibrant and cultured suburb, the project draws inspiration from not only its surroundings, the eclectic architecture, boutique streets, cafés, galleries, and a European-infused artistic character, but also the client’s incredible personal style.
Every surface, fixture, and joinery piece was carefully considered to create a home that feels both intimate and extraordinary. The palette strikes a balance of calming neutrality and sophistication with moments of bold expression. With contrasts of texture, stone, and decorative detailing that guide the eye and heighten the sensory experience.
H&CO. collaborated closely with expert artisans, including Christopher Boots, to deliver one-of-a-kind features such as the Ouranos III circular two-tier pendant, sculptural stone joinery, and bespoke cabinetry with soft curves and specialty finishes. These elements, paired with Calacatta Viola marble throughout, imbue the space with warmth, elegance, and a sense of permanence.
IKON is a residence that balances refinement and comfort, a space meticulously crafted to feel personal, considered, and uniquely attuned to the lifestyle of its inhabitant.
Crafting
ARTISTRY IN EVERY DETAIL
Every corner of IKON reflects careful orchestration and precision. Bespoke joinery throughout be it, stone, Timber veneer, or liquid metal. Polished plaster wall and ceiling finishes, and decorative mirrors create rhythm and harmony throughout the interior. Brass fixtures, custom cabinetry, commissioned artwork and specialty finishes elevate functionality into sculptural elegance.
From the grand entrance to intimate corners, the design plays with light, reflection, and materiality, creating moments of visual poetry. The heated stone flooring with timber borders, the Calacatta Viola and Vagli surfaces, and a mix of handpicked and designed furniture combine to form an environment where every detail feels intentional, curated, and timeless.
